Food for a Changing Planet

Clarke University presents Fred Kirschenmann, a longtime national and international leader in sustainable agriculture, farmer, and author of Cultivating an Ecological Conscience: Essays from a Farmer Philosopher (2010), for a timely and crucial conversation about the future of food in a changing climate. Kirschenman is a Distinguished Fellow for the Leopold Center for Sustainable Agriculture and professor in the Department of Philosophy & Religious studies at Iowa State University and has received international recognition for his writing on land ethics.

The lecture is free and will be held in the Jansen Music Hall on the Clarke University Campus in Dubuque.
