See a small acreage-sized prairie restoration project up close. Residential landscaping with native plants will be one area that is discussed. Location:  1525 Old Portland Road in Van Meter at 7 p.m..  Off 169 north of Winterset, turn east on 148th Street.  It will tee into Old Portland after about 2 miles.  Turn right to 1525.  Parking along the driveway edge.
