Monday February 1st, Iowan’s have the unique honor of being the first in the nation to decide who we want as our nominees for President. This is an opportunity for Iowans to set the tone for the nation. In addition to this honor, we have the ability to propose resolutions that we want our respective parties to include in the state platform. as a way to help set the political agenda and ensure that our elected officials know what issues are important to us.
