Kemin Industries has a 720.6 kW solar array with the intent of supplying 100% of the power for its headquarters. Its roof-mounted installation is a fixed tilt array and the ground-mounted installation is a single-axis tracking array on a greenspace with high employee visibility.

Excess power is added to the grid through net metering. The Global Headquarters installation is currently being replicated at three international Kemin locations.

Outreach is always a desirable component to spread the word about sustainability, and Kemin has conducted a virtual solar tour to its City Council and state leadership.
