The City of Maquoketa has been in the visioning and enacting process for a number of years. With downtown revitalization as a piece, the Mitchell Maskrey Mill plays a big part in this process. As the largest vacant building in the area, it was renovated sensitively to retain historical features that residents have recognized as a landmark since the 1880’s.
