Sponsored by the Iowa Environmental Council, the Prairie Lakes Conference is a vibrant example of the connectivity where prairie and lakes meet. That is why conservation professionals from throughout the region have banded together to create the Prairie Lakes Conference Thursday-Friday, Aug. 11-12, at the Arrowwood Resort & Conference Center in Okoboji.

Professionals, students and interested members of the public are invited to attend to learn about soil health, water quality, and the connections between the two.

In addition to the conference, Clean Water Week will feature a variety of other environmental events. Check out the agricultural field day Wednesday, Aug. 10, the We Pedal Clean Water conservation bike ride and the Clean Water Concert Saturday, Aug. 13.
