Main Street Jewell creatively solved its community’s need for covid-safe retail space and beautifying an empty main street lot. Three locally built cottages were installed with volunteer help, with donated and repurposed materials for hardscaping, as a way to bring three storefronts with low environmental impact, increase visual appeal to the empty lot, and improved walkability to the block.
