DESCRIPTION:Join us Thursday\, January 19 at the Iowa State Capitol Building to recognize this year’s winners of 1000 Friends of Iowa’s Best Development Awards! \nThe ceremony will start at noon and will be located in the first Floor Rotunda. Lunch will be provided before the ceremony begins. \nThe Best Development Awards recognizes communities\, businesses and individuals who are doing development with sustainability in mind. These are projects that show us there is a better way to do things and these projects can serve as models for others. \nPlease register for the event by clicking here. \nCome early and meet with your legislators to talk bout land use issues!
