DESCRIPTION:Join Iowa Prairie Network for their Annual Membership Meeting hosted by Region 2 on Saturday\, August 6 at the Floyd County Conservation Fossil and Prairie Park Preserve near Rockford! The event is free and open to the public. \nCome for the day or camp over the weekend. Camping accommodations are included below. \nRSVP for meals by July 30 (more details below) \nWEEKEND EVENT SCHEDULE:\nFRIDAY — tour local prairies and attractions on your own \nSATURDAY\n8:30-10:00: Pancake Breakfast *\n10:00: IPN Annual Meeting\n11:00: IPN Board Meeting \n(10:00-11:30: For those not involved in meetings: hunt fossils or tour former Brick and Tile Facility)\n11:30: Lunch *\n12:30: Presentation/Walking Tour of the prairie at Fossil & Prairie Park\n3:00: Presentation/Tour: Local prairie reconstructions (recently planted and several years old)\, a remnant\, and conservation work\n6:30: Banquet *\n7:30: Speaker: Bob Jackson of Tall Grass Bison\n8:30: Evening on your own (there may be some gatherings at a local\ncampground) \nSUNDAY – tour local prairies and attractions on your own \nRSVP DETAILS:\n* Reservations are requested for breakfast (free will donation) and lunch ($6).
