Rugged wooded hills and valleys abundant with oak trees make this one of southern Iowa’s most scenic parks.  The timber consists primarily of oak trees some of which are 300 years old.  There is also a well established pine plantation in the northeast corner.  Ten miles of trails wind through the 1,100 acre park.

Directions: From I-35 south take exit #4 (Lamoni), Hwy. 69.  Proceed north 9.6 miles to J66.  East on J66 for 5.6 miles to the park entrance.
